Each morning, the Branch Platform initiates an automated process to import a complete batch of loan records directly from the bank’s core processing system, such as Fiserv. This data import ensures that all new loans are added to the system while existing loans are updated with the most current information. By centralizing loan data within the Branch Platform, institutions maintain an accurate and up-to-date view of their loan portfolio.

Once a new loan is detected in the platform, an automation is triggered to enrich that record with supporting information. The Branch Platform connects to the Fiserv Communicator Open integration to retrieve additional loan details and associated documents, such as executed promissory notes and loan agreements. This step enables a comprehensive view of each loan beyond what is available in the core system alone.

Loan Verification Using Branch Document Vision

With the supporting documents in hand, the Branch Document Vision integration analyzes key data fields—specifically the loan rate, authorized signers, and disbursed amount. This AI-powered document processing tool verifies that the data from the bank core matches what appears on the executed loan documents. If all information aligns, the loan passes the quality control check automatically with no further action required.

Exception Handling Through the Loan Quality Control Workflow

If discrepancies are found during the verification process, Branch Platform automatically creates a new Loan Quality Control project. This project is tied to a pre-configured workflow designed to address data inconsistencies. Assigned users are prompted to review the discrepancies, coordinate any necessary corrections within the Fiserv system, and document approvals for audit readiness. This workflow-driven approach ensures that every exception is resolved efficiently and in compliance with bank policies.

Real-Time Reporting on Loan Data Accuracy

At the conclusion of the automation, the system generates a comprehensive report summarizing the day’s loan activity. The report includes the total number of new loans processed, the count of loans that passed the verification check, and the number of loans requiring manual review. This automated reporting process provides transparency into loan data accuracy and supports ongoing compliance efforts within the financial institution.
